Malcolm M Taylor (1933-2012) was one of the foremost master bow makers who worked for Hill. He joined the firm in 1949 and left them to work on his own in 1973.
This beautiful silver mounted bow is a superb example of Taylor's work; it was made in 1950 and is a superb example of this master's work. It is in superb condition - impeccably straight and well-cambered and offers truly outstanding playing properties that would be appreciated by any demanding and experienced violinist.
