The Czechoslovakian output of violins during the 1960s through to the 1980s are today increasingly being appreciated for the high quality of materials, workmanship and particularly tonal property. They were consistent in their standards and these instruments are today sought-after and appreciated.
This lovely ¾ violin beautifully represents the above statement. It is attractive on the eye, is in excellent condition and sounds very good.It was made as a copy of Stradivari.
One notices the beautiful well-flamed maple used in the two-piece back, ribs, neck and scroll, along with the lovely amber varnish that beautifully compliments the wood. Workmanship throughout is refined with attention to detail.
This violin would open a wide door of progress for a talented young musician.
