This attractive instrument is made of excellent materials enhanced by a beautiful amber-brown varnish, which compliments not only the woods but also the workmanship, which throughout is impeccable.

The back and ribs are of nicely flamed maple with a distinct medium curl slanting downward from the centre seam to the flanks. The top is of finely grained, good quality tone spruce. Workmanship in the purfling and mitres is faultless. The scroll is well-balanced and cut with attention to detail. Throughout this cello pleases.

Most importantly - it is well-toned.

Whoever acquires this lovely instrument can do so with confidence that it will serve well for many decades to come.
