This unsigned bow probably dates from the mid-20th century, is in excellent condition and has very nice playing properties. It is well-balanced with sharp articulation and good spiccato. The origin is unknown, but it's more likely than not from Markneukirchen.

  Ebony with simple eye

  Nickel-silver

Lapping :
  Silver wire lapping & black leather thumbpad - all new.

Tip Slide :
  Ivory

Condition :
  Excellent condition throughout.There is a small chip in the adjuster's mother-of-pearl eye.

  Earlier provenance withheld. Now the property of Johan Grobbelaar
