This unstamped cello bow has just received a complete cleanup and refurbishing - new tip facing, new silver lapping and thumbpad and fresh hair. It shows the normal signs of use one would associated with a bow from the early 20th century and is in good condition without any evident repairs.

This bow conforms to all requirements for a good student bow, likely suitable for an advanced student, or beyond.

Weight : 66 g

The Stick :
Round. It appears to be high grade Brazilwood, but could be Pernambuco

The Nut :
Ebony with parisian eye. Both nut and adjuster button are probably later,

Mountings :
  Silver-nickel

Lapping :
New silver-plated wire lapping and black thumbpad of ostrich shin leather.

Tip Slide :
High grade bone, closely resembling ivory.

Condition :
This bow was recently completely refurbished and rehaired by Svend Christensen - all work very well done. It is in very good condition, free from cracks or evident repairs.
